Laurie and Nate were married a little over two weeks ago now. They have one of the best first date stories I have ever heard! Nate is a pilot, so he took Laurie up in a small plane. Once they were high enough he told Laurie to open the window and touch a cloud!
Their wedding was full of surprises! Nate's gift to Laurie was a Blue ring that became her something blue. Laurie's gift to Nate was a new camera, a Nikon D40, he was blown away! (Personally, we are Canon people, but we won't hold the Nikon against them.)
A few of the bride and groom:
The ceremony was held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton and the reception was at The Commons at Lewis and Clark College.
Since Nate is in the Air Force they had a Sabor Salute as they left the church:
After the ceremony we went to Laurie's parents house for a few pictures and then over to the Campus:
The gorgeous flowers were by Artistry in St Louis, and the stretch Hummer was by St Louis Limos.
I love this shot with the rings on one of the sabors!
Laurie's Aunt made the cake! I think this is one of my favorite cake shots:
Nate gave all the guys cigars with very nice cigar/flask cases, so at the end of the night they relaxed with a smoke:
Last, but not least, one of our favorite shots from the end of the night:
Laurie and Nate, Thanks for a GREAT time!! Hope you were able to enjoy your honeymoon, inspite of hurricane Dean!
