Michele, Steve, and Hudson

Coby had such a great time with Michele and Steve the other day. They wanted some fun portraits with their one year old baby, Hudson. Isn't he the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Kids in leaves

We took the kids out the other day for one last romp in the leaves. They had a great time, noses were a little red from the cold, but well worth the time together.I am so excited for these and the family session we did recently because now I can finally have the canvas gallery wraps for my wall! I will keep you posted when I get them in.

Melvin Maxeiner, Rest in Peace

After 91 years of life, Melvin Maxeiner, Coby's grandfather passed away on Sunday morning. Melvin was a farmer and carpenter almost his entire life. Many people don't know this, but he actually built the house that we live in.
He will me greatly missed. Please keep the family in your thoughts.
This isn't the best picture, but it is the last picture.

The Davis Family

Coby met the whole Davis family out at Anne and Wiley's home for some great family shots. We have known the whole family for quite some time now, it all started with Sara and Andrew's wedding, next was joining Katherine in Music Class, and then there was Kelly and John's wedding. The whole Davis family is another family that we love to watch grow.
And here are a few faves from the session:

Grampa Wiley entertaining the grandkids.
I think all kids have a fascination with fireplaces.Grandma Anne has a different approach to entertaining the grandkids.

All our previous samples must go! We are also selling past wedding film, yes I said film! Please feel free to give us a call for more information.

Jean and John are Married!

We have been waiting for Jean and John to get married for a very long time! Both Coby and I have know them for many, many years, and we were so excited when they called us to say it was finally time for them to get married. We were also very excited when they told us some of the surprises they had planned for the wedding.
The Ceremony and Reception were held at the gorgeous Riverbend Chapel in Washington, Missouri. Jean and John were married overlooking the river surrounded by some of the most vibrant Fall colors I have ever seen.
Take a look for yourself:

The suave groom and his best man.
Jean and John decided to see each other before the ceremony, which ended up working out great with the lighting. After a few moments together we headed off to do some pics of just the two of them.Next it was time for Jean and her best lady.John and his bestman arrived to the ceremony in style. Both John and Jean are huge cyclist, so huge in fact that John proposed to Jean while they were out on a trail ride on a tandem bike! After the ceremony they rode off into the sunset together! The cake was by Wedding Wonderland, appropriately adorned with bicycles. After a little dancing, we took Jean and John outside for some romantic "painting with light" art images.I think this is my all time favorite, to me it really says who Jean and John are!Jean and John, thank you so much for letting us be a special part of your day! Congratulations!!!
