Sarah & Adam Engagement

I have been a little behind in blogging, so I am going to try and get caught up this week. First up is Sarah and Adam's engagement session. They get married next June in Edwardsville.
Adam proposed at the Ruebel Hotel in Grafton, IL so that is where they decided to have their engagement session.

Nick and Alex 1 year

Nick and Alex came in last week for a one year session. These boys are very active! I think Coby was a little warn out by the time the session was done, but it was a lot of fun! We did the boys' parent's wedding a few years ago, it is always great to see our couples families grow.

Here are a few from Alex and Nick:
There are just a few of the two of them together, even though they are twins they have very different personalities! Nick loved the camera and Alex was more interested in exploring.

A couple of just Alex:

And now Nick:

Wisconsin Dells

We have had a busy week, catching up from being out of town. After we took Tracy and Dans' engagement photos in downtown Chicago we headed to the Wisconsin Dells for a short get-a-way with the kids. We had a blast, and definitely will try to make a return trip soon. If you have never been to the Dells I highly recommend it, especially if you have kids or are a kid at heart. The Wisconsin Dells is the Waterpark Capital of the World, check it out.

One of our first stops was Paul Bunyan's Cook Shanty, a must especially for breakfast! They have the best donuts in the whole world! There's something about drinking cold milk from a tin cup.

We stayed at the Raintree Resort. Almost all of the resorts in the Dells has their own waterpark. The Raintree was one of the smaller ones, but was just right for our kids!

Where's Cameran?

Another restaurant I highly recommend is Moose Jaw. Here are our little hams.

Another favorite past time in the Dells is miniature golf. This was Emmy's first time, most of the time she just threw the ball, and then put it in the hole. The golf courses in the Dells are very elaborate, we went to Pirate's Cove, which tells you all about pirates along the way.

Of course, you can't go to a place like the Wisconsin Dells without going to a Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum!

We definitely had a great time, but we did not do everything that we intended to. We wanted to take a boat ride, ride the go carts and see the Tommy Bartlett water ski show. We did go to Wizard Quest, but wanted to go back and take some pictures! Wizard Quest was Cameran's favorite place!

Tracy & Dan Egagements

As some of you might know, we went out of town last weekend. We headed up to Chicago to meet up with Tracy and Dan, who get married this October. Their first date was at the Art Institute, so that is where we started. We got a lot of attention from some of the security guards, they were circling us like vultures! We did have permission to photograph in the museum ahead of time, it is always nice to cover your ***!

This sculpture has special meaning to Tracy and Dan, they were both drawn to it on their first date. Tracy surprised Dan with a painting of it that she did!

A few more from the museum. My favorite is the one in the middle of the main stairs! We had a lot of onlookers at this point!

Next we went to Millenium Park. Tracy works across the street from here. Another great location, if you are ever in Chicago it is a must see!
First we went to the Great Bean, (Actual name is "Cloud Gate" but every one calls in the Bean because that is what it looks like!)
Look closely, you can see me, Coby and Brennen in the back!

These were taken over by the Pavillion. Once again we had security guards circling.

Finally we ended at "Crown Fountain". If you go here, prepare to get soaked!

We had a great time we Tracy and Dan. Afterwards we all went out to Gino's for some deep dish pizza. If you didn't know, I am originally from Chicago and miss my pizza and hot dogs! The next day we went to Portillo's so I could get a REAL Chicago hot dog!

Karla & Josh Engagements

Karla and Josh get married next month, just a little over 2 weeks! Coby met them at Pere Marquette for there engagement session and found some pretty unique areas to shoot around. We are looking forward to their wedding in September.

Their son, Kayden, tagged along and even got into a few shots. Look at that huge smile!
