1 Year old Bryce

Yea, Bryce is 1! Where is a great place to take a one year old? The Magic House! Coby met Bryce and his parents at the Magic House for a fun session to complete Bryce's first year. I think he was on fun overload with all the cool things for a kid to do.
Here are a few faves from a fun day:
I thought this was appropriate considering mom is a music teacher for Music Together.
Bryce really likes car, here he is getting ready to change a tire.

Monday Art 2/23/09

I know this is not an art image, but I consider it the art of how to go off roading in Sedona. This is Coby on a recent trip to Sedona, Arizona with his brother. They rented a Jeep from Farabee's Jeep Rental and took off on their own. Of course, Coby came home wanting to buy a Jeep!

Paxton

We have been trying to get Paxton and his whole family in for a photo session for quite some time, but either the weather was not cooperating or something else came up. So this time we had to settle for just Paxton and his mom. We are so glad that they were able to make it in and we are looking forward to meeting the rest of the family soon.
Here are a few faves of Paxton, love his bright eyes:

Jonathan and Jackson

Here are two of the cutest boys I have seen in a long time! If you couldn't tell they are huge Illini fans!I am sure some of that comes from their parents. And just in case you are wondering, yes, we did their parents' wedding a few years ago. I just have to say it again, I love when we get to see families grow.
Here are a few faves from Jonathan and Jackson's session:

Monday Art 2/16/09

Two of my favorite things to photograph, besides people, are bridges and waterfalls. The midwest does not have an over abundance of waterfalls, so this is no easy task. This frozen waterfall is hidden in the bluffs along the river road. In the summer it becomes a tiny trickle.
I absolutely love all the trees in front of it, almost as it is playing hide and seek.

Payton

Another cutie in this month of Babes! This is little Payton. Payton's mom brought her in to the studio as a surprise for dad for Valentine's Day, so I thought it would be appropriate to post a few of our faves on this day of true love!

Kendrick at 7 months

Kendrick came into the studio with his mom a couple of days ago. It is always great to reconnect with past clients, yes, we did Kendrick's parents wedding. We also did the family's pictures when Kendrick was very tiny. I must say that Kendrick gets a lot of love at home from his big sister and two big brothers. Here are a few from Kendrick at 7 months:
I just love the silly faces kids make!

Josie 6 weeks

I am very excited to show off the images we took a few days ago of little Josie. Josie, her parents and big brother live on the east coast, but whenever the family is in town for a visit they stop by the studio. Just mom and Josie made it in this time. We are looking forward to seeing big brother and dad next time!
Here are a few from Josie's 6 week session, she is a very happy baby!
The message on the bracelet is "Our Goal is a Cure". Josie's Uncle is fighting cancer, and we are all praying that he will be cancer free by the end of this week!

Monday Art 2/9/09

The only lighthouse in Grafton. I guess I really never realized it was there until on day we went for a drive up the river road. Does it stand by to watch the barges come through the frozen ice of the Mississippi?

Monday Art 2/2/09

I know I have been way behind in posting Monday Art, I want to get back to posting an Art piece every week. These really are important to us because it encourages us to keep looking for art all around us.

This images was shot while out with the family looking for eagles. I love the look of the Mississippi when it is all frozen. It is wild, yet still. The seagulls were swarming for food. Even though we did go looking for bald eagles, we only saw a very few this day.
