The Bendana Family

We met up with one of our favorite families last Friday at Lewis and Clark Community College for some family pics. If you didn't know, we did Fred and Jessica's wedding about five years ago. Last year, when the boys were one, Jessica brought the boys in to the studio for a very energetic photo shoot. Now that the boys are two, we were definitely up to the challenge of meeting up with the whole family.

Lauren turns 4

It has been a little while since we last took Lauren's pictures, and my has she grown! She is a very busy little girl, already an aspiring ballerina and just about to start pre-school. I think she could also be a model, just look how much she loves the camera. As always, here are a few faves:

A few of Brennen at 1

You know the old saying about the shoemakers kids not having any shoes? Well, it is the same with the photographer's kids. Brennen has been a year for a month now, and I am just getting around to doing a few pics of him. I plan on doing another session when the weather cooperates. So, for now, here are his "Rocker" pics:

Lauren & Matt Engagements

Last Friday Coby had the pleasure of meeting Lauren and Matt at Forest Park for a few engagement images. We just love when couples come to us because we did a friends wedding. Well, Lauren is friends with about half a dozen of our past brides! We are really looking forward to their wedding this October, as we will be making a trip out to the family farm for most of the pictures.
Here are a few of our faves from the engagement:
I think this one is so sweet!
Always love the shots around the Muny.
Had to do a few with a fashion flare! Lauren definitely can pull off that model thang!
You should have seen all the images of Matt rocking the boat.
I thought this was so cute because Lauren had to stand on her tippy toes to give Matt a kiss.

A few Monday Ramblings

Rambling #1, I wanted to let everyone know that I believe our website and email are now working. We will see how long that last.

Rambling # 2, last Friday evening we went to a great business seminar put on by JB and DeEtte Sallee of Sallee Photography. We learned a lot from the Sallees and hopefully it will help us to grow in our business and be beneficial to our clients. We met some great St. Louis Photographers at the seminar not to mention JB and DeEtte. Afterwards a few of us headed over to Lumiere for a few drinks, it made for a late night, but definitely a great time.

Rambling #3, These last couple of days I have come to realize that I am addicted to the game Kingdom Hearts.

Laurie & Keith engagement

We had a great time this past Sunday with Laurie and Keith. For their engagement session we decided to hit Laclede's Landing, the Arch, and our new favorite location, which I am going to keep secret for now.
We are really looking forward to Laurie and Keith's wedding, not only because it is in Dallas, but also because we already know half the wedding party! We will definitely be among a lot of friends at their wedding, and it promises to be a great time!
Here are just a few faves:
We had to go by the Arch, since this is where they shared their first kiss. You'll have to ask them the funny story that goes with that first kiss.
I absolutely love this bridge, it was this bridge that drew us to this location.
Can everyone say "awwwwe"?
Here's the fasion shot.
And one more "awe"!

Sara & Michael's family is growing!

You know how much I love it when past wedding clients call us up to let us know that their family is about to grow! We are so excited for Sara and Michael and wish them all the blessings a new child will bring!
And for those that are wondering, they have decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise! Hopefully they will keep us posted!
Here are just a few faves:
My personal fave, mommy & daddy's hands giving baby lots of love!
