Senior Alex

Alex came in last week for her Senior session. You would think that Alex was a pro model! That could come from watching America's Next Top Model. She graduates at the end of May and plans on going to college in Chicago to study law. She has a very high GPA, but if the law thing doesn't work out I am sure that she can follow in Tyra Banks footsteps!
Here are a few faves:

Painting with Light

Last weekend we decided to do a little experimenting with a technique called "painting with light". This style is rather new and it involves total darkness and a flash light. Our good friends, Cathy and Shane were willing to help us out. We had a great time, and Cathy and Shane were great to work with. Let me know what you think.

Blue, Round, Three

I decided to start a new post to display the pictures from the scavenger hunt. I also think that we will make it a monthly thing. So, for March the challenge is three, round, & blue.
As the images come in I will post them here, and then the voting will begin at the end of the month. Once the voting is over I will announce the winner.
Here is the first entry, by Carrie. I love it!
Finally, another entry!! This one is by Emily. A great Easter themed shot!

Jessica & Jason's Engagement

What a gorgeous day we had for Jessica & Jason's engagement session yesterday! 70 degrees! We met them in their neighborhood, over by the old Lemp Brewery. We were very excited that they picked this location, the architecture in the area is amazing!
It was a beautiful day to go for a walk around the block, and that is just what we did.
We are looking forward to their wedding next month!
Here are just a few of our faves:

Newborn Bryce

Katherine and Chris welcomed Bryce into their family 2 weeks ago! What a little cutie, babies are always a joy to photograph! We are looking forward to watching him grow.

Congratulations Katherine & Chris, and the whole extended family.
I have to put my little Grapevine plug in here. The adorable monkey outfit is from there.

Snow Day

So, on Sunday we had 75 degree weather. Today we had a blizzard, at least by St. Louis standards. We easily got 8 inches of snow today! What is one of the best things to do when you have that much snow? Besides skiing of course! Take the kids sledding!! So we loaded up the kids and took them over to Coby's parent's place where there is a huge hill.
Check it out:
Emmy was very brave & went down by herself!
I only went down once, but I was booking.
Emmy getting a free ride from dad.
Cameran lost his sled, so he decided to go down without one.
Brennen slept in the car most of the time. When he woke up, he was amazed at all the white stuff!
Wipe Out!!
Coby, thinking he can snowboard on a plastic toboggan!
Cameran after an excellent run.

Sunday at the Zoo

Who could believe the weather we had this past weekend? It was 75 degrees on Sunday! Coby and I took Brennen and Emmy to the St. Louis Zoo, Cameran was still in Branson on Sunday.
We had a great time, even Brennen seemed to enjoy it. We also ran into some clients, Alyx and Ben, with their family!
Here are a few faves from the zoo:
Brennen hanging out in the stroller.
Emmy was VERY excited that we were able to see Raja with her baby.
Even though the hippos were not out, Emmy & Brennen enjoyed watching the fish.
The Giraffes came right up to us, they were so close we could almost pet them!
All Emmy wanted was some dippin' dots!

Stay tuned to some snowy day pics on Tuesday.
