Jenny & Matt are married!

We had another great wedding day last Sunday with Jenny and Matt! We always love when we get to do a wedding that came to us from a past client. What made it even better was that Jenny and Matt came to us from the recommendations of four past clients!
The ceremony was at the gorgeous St. John's U.C.C. in New Athens, Il and let me just say that Jenny was Audrey Hepburn beautiful!
Jenny had some great details, but I think my favorite detail were her green Chuck Taylors that she wore after the ceremony. For those that don't know, Jenny is Irish and, of course, green is her favorite color.
Jenny and Matt, thank you so much for letting us be a part of you special day. We had a phenomenal time!
Here are a few faves from Jenny & Matt's rockin' day:

Jenny's mom surprised her with the bonnet that Jenny wore to her christening. Jenny was able to then use it as her hanky.
I absolutely loved Jenny's dress, not only did it lace up in the back, but there was also these amazing buttons going up the back.
The girls did a great job hamming it up for the camera.
Flowers by Jeanne in Marissa, IL, very well done with a few surprises for Jenny.
The graceful Jenny.
And then there is Matt!
He really is a handsome guy.
Love the detail of the isle runner.
After the ceremony we headed out to Busch Stadium and Keiner Plaza for some fun pics, and trust me, we had a BLAST!
Some of the guys were really in to being crazy! They made our job so easy.
I told you Jenny's shoes were cool.
Yes, they really are huge Cardinals Fans!
This is one of my favorite shots of the day, it is timeless.
We made it to The Four Points Sheraton with time to spare!
Cake provided by 10th Street Bakery in Belleville.
Little rave about the florist, I love when the flowers look this good at the end of the night. This was taken on a bridesmaids bouquet at 9:30 at night and they still look gorgeous!
My favorite part of the evening, Painting with Light. All I said to Jenny and Matt was "get a little sexy". I think they accomplished that and then some!

Sarah and Paul are married!

Can I just say that our Saturday wedding was absolutely Fabulous! We had such a great time with Sarah and Paul, I wish we could do it all over again. The ceremony was local, right here in Alton at St. Mary's Catholic Church, one of our favorite church's to work in.
We had the pleasure of working with Kirsten from Cosmopolitan events and the GTV Wedding Films crew all day. I must say that Kirsten did an excellent job at making the day run smooth!
The details were out of this world, from the bouquets by Jeffrey's Flowers, to the invitations, programs, and table number cards by Eiffel Printing and Design.
Sarah and Paul, we want to thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day and we wish you all the best in the future!
Here are some of our faves from the day:
A few details, the dress was to die for, and was perfect for Sarah!
Sarah's purse was made out of her mother's wedding gown, and Sarah wore her mother's veil.
Sarah and the girls looking smashing!
Sarah was just a tad nervous before the ceremony so we helped her work out the tension with a quick fashion shoot. I think she has done this before, she is a natural.
I think Paul was a little nervouse too, but you definitely can not tell by these pics. Just look how suave he is!I think dad was a little more than proud of his little girl. The emotions were pretty high, it really shows just how much in love these two are.
The reception was held at the beautiful Lockhaven Country Club. Sarah and Paul's signature drink, the Gator-itta, greeted the guest as they arrived. For those that don't know, Sarah and Paul live in Florida and, of course, are Gator fans. There was also a Gator Garter and a Gator groom's cake! Go Gators!
Kris from Millinium Music set the place with theses awesome pink lights, it really helped add to the ambiance!
The cake was provided by the very creative Patty Cakes.
One of the cutest flower girls ever!
Before the reception we had some time to do some fashion stuff of Sarah and Paul. This one was in the girls locker room while we waited for the golf carts.
Next it was off to the greens for a little romance.
The reception music was provided by one of our favorite DJ's, Lonnie from STL Entertainment.
Lonnie also provides karaoke, I am not going to comment on Paul and Sarah's singing.
And what would a CMAX wedding be, without some painting with light.
This one needs a little explaining. Tim from GTV Wedding Films filmed Sarah and Paul's entire wedding in 3D! Here is our version of Painting with Light in 3D.

Bella is 3 months

What can I say about Bella and her family, except that we absolutely adore them all! I can hardly believe that it has been 7 years since we photographed Bella's parents wedding.
Bella recently turned 3 months, so her parents brought her in for a few in the studio. Here are some faves:
I think this is one of my all time faves! I always love the goofy ones of the little kids!

Monday Art and Happy Labor Day

Hope everyone enjoyed their long Labor Day weekend. We had a great time at back to back weddings. Saturday we helped Sarah and Paul celebrate their special day and on Sunday was Jenny and Matt's big day.
Check back soon for our faves from their weddings.

In the meantime, here is the Monday Art, another one from Coby's recent travels.
