Lauren and Matt have known each other practically their whole lives, that is because Lauren's parents and Matt's parents are friends. So Lauren and Matt grew up together, became friends and eventually fell in love. It was so great to see these two families together!
Now, onto a few faves from the day:
The beautiful Lauren, shortly after getting her hair and make-up done by the fabulous Danielle Erb. Doesn't Lauren look radiant? Her stunning dress was worn almost thirty years ago by her mother.
The flowers were done by Soulard Florist, simply elegant! Lauren's ring, hiding in the flowers belonged to her great Aunt.

Lauren and Matt decided to see each other before the ceremony so that we could do all their pictures on the farm. The setting was better than anything we could ask for! We set up their first look overlooking a lake with golden fields in the background. It truely was picture perfect!
This is little Jay, their nephew, who simply adores both Lauren and Matt.

The ceremony was held at St Paul's United Church of Christ in Belleville.
Their get-a-way car was a classic 1970's convertible, owned by a family friend. Yes, we did stop in the middle of the street to take a few shots with the fountain in the background.
The reception was at the St. Clair Country Club, this awesome bridge was close to the entrance so we decided to take a few romantic images here.
Since both families knew each other very well the toasts by Lauren's sister and Matt's brother were quiet humorous!
The dance music was provided by the very talented Phoenix Band, if you get a chance check them out.
Back to the bridge for some painting with light.
