2 Year Old Kristin

Kristin, mom and Grandmother came to the studio the other day for a Spring photo session. Kristin is about to turn two and we have been taking her pictures ever since she was a baby. This time it was a pleasure to meet Grandma. This session really just screams Spring! Now let's hope the weather starts showing the signs of Spring.

Lauren is 9 months

One of my favorite times in a baby's first year of life is when they reach that 9 month mark. They are very animated by that point, crawling, standing, and sometimes even in the beginning stages of walking. I was very excited when Lauren's mom called to let us know it was time for her 9 month session. I suggested we meet at the Missouri Botanical Gardens for the session.

Showing Off Our Spring Special Set

As I have recently posted, we are running a spring special. Today I had the opportunity to bring in Emmy and Brennen to test out the set we have for the Spring special. I am pretty sure it was a big hit with both of them. I think Emmy wants to be a model when she grows up, and Brennen is just all giggles, all the time.

Portraits in Elmhurst

We are traveling to Elmhurst, IL and would love to set up some portraits in Wilder Park by the Art Museum on April 4th. If you are interested, send us a message at info@cmaxphoto.com and we will get you on the calendar. The sessions will be 50% off.

Monday Art 3/16/09

As some of you know, we headed to the Missouri Botanical Garden's on Saturday. We met some awesome photographers there and spent a lot of time at the Orchid show. If you haven't seen the Orchid show, I highly recommend that you go. So for today's Monday Art, here is one of my faves from the orchids.

Bella is 9 months

What can I say about Bella? She is just one of the cutest little girls you'll ever see. I really think she can be a model, especially for The Grapevine! We will be picking one of Bella's pictures from her 9 month session for the Annual Baby and Child Contest.

Lexi, Reid and Macy

I always think it is amazing how much babies change in such a short amount of time. The last time we saw Lexi and Reid they were only a couple of weeks old. Now they are laughing, smiling and very animated! Big sister Macy really does love her little sister and brother. We always love when these three come into the studio and we are looking forward to seeing them again soon!

Here is one from Sedona. Sedona is one of our favorite places in the world. Natural beauty that is simply breathtaking.

Baby and Child Contest

How would you like the chance to win up to $5000? Well, now is your chance! We are announcing that we are participating in the international Baby and Child Contest which is sponsored by our lab. All you have to do is schedule a regular portrait session of your child, age 12 and younger. Session fee will be due at your session.

There will be 4 rounds of voting: March, April, May, and June. Voting will begin the last week of each month. Everyone who sets up a portrait session will be entered into the contest and receive a free 8x10 of the image we chose to submit. The winners of each round will be entered into the final round which takes place in July. The prizes for the winners range from $500 to $5000!
